Chevarambalam library, located along the main road, connecting Malaparamba and Medical college is surrounded by a busy neighbourhood both functionally and architecturally. The building is primarily conceived as a climatic responsive building. The building is oriented along the North South direction to provide a comfortable reading space. The material palette includes bamboo, laterite and wood. The metal grill work in the front façade supports creeper growth. Visited by citizens, this is a place for people in the neighbourhood to connect.
