The school is a two storied structure established in the year 1928. The initial planning was to upgrade the school as a memorial for K.T.Muhammad, where new performance and rehearsal spaces were proposed. Every space is thought and designed as a multifunctional space which can be used throughout the day. A performance stage was proposed for the same, which can be used by the students and the localites. The backstage is also designed to be used as an informal interactive space where students can dine – in, when not in use. A canteen area is proposed, which also holds a dual function. Edges and spaces are designed to hold formal and informal discussions. A covered green pathway and small green court proposed just outside the classrooms, add to the already existing green essence of the school which makes it lively.
